It was snowing outside and the granny felt very cold in the living room. The boy came in from playing outside.
He left the door open and ran to get his gloves in his bedroom. His granny said to him: “Why don’t you open a window as well?”
The girl got a new backpack for the beginning of school. But she forgot it in the playground.
When she got home her granny asked where her new backpack was. “I don’t know,” said the girl. The granny said to the girl’s mom: “She would leave her head somewhere if it wasn’t attached to her body.”
The girl decided to make a cake for her family for tea. “I always make delicious cakes,” she said.
But she put salt in the cake instead of sugar, so they tasted awful. Her big sister said to her: “You always make delicious cakes.”
"What do you think of my painting?" "I like the frame."
"Why is the house such a mess?" "I was looking for my phone."
Sam and Maria are playing together. They look outside and see that the school is having a bake sale. Maria tells Sam: “I am going to buy pineapple bread for us there”, and she walks away.
Mom comes home and she tells Sam that she just drove past the bake sale. “Are they selling pineapple bread?” Sam asks. “No”, Mom says, “I only saw strawberry cake.” “Ah, then Maria will get strawberry cake at the bake sale”, Sam says.
Now Maria has arrived at the bake sale. “I would like to buy pineapple bread”, she says. “All we have left are cookies”, says the lady behind the stall. Since Maria also likes cookies, she decides to get some cookies.
On her way back, Maria meets her neighbor. She tells the neighbor: “I have just bought some cookies. I am going to share them with my brother Sam. It is a surprise”. “That is nice of you”, says the neighbor.
